What’s included in the cost of a private chef experience?
Our per-person pricing includes personalized menu planning with Chef George, ingredient sourcing, cooking, elevated service, and clean up. Grocery cost and gratuity are not included in the per-person price. Grocery costs will vary based on your menu selections and group size.
What is the process for planning the menu?
Simply reach out to Chef George to check availability, tell him about your occasion, and discuss your group’s tastes. You’ll work together to design a menu that reflects your preferences and vision for the event.
What areas do you serve?
Blue Ridge Cabin Cuisine serves rental cabins and private homes located in Blue Ridge, GA. If your event will be held outside of our service area, we’re still happy to help, but a travel charge may apply based on distance and travel time.
How does the billing process work?
To secure your booking, we request a deposit covering the estimated cost of groceries. Your final bill will reflect the quoted price per person, plus any travel charge or additional grocery costs not covered by your deposit. Your final bill is due at the close of your event. Cash and all major credit cards are accepted.
How do I reserve my date?
To reserve your date, reach out to Chef George to confirm availability and begin planning your menu. Once your menu is finalized, a deposit covering the estimated cost of groceries is required to secure your booking. Please note that delays in communication during this process may result in forfeiture of your reservation.
What is your rescheduling and cancelation policy?
You may adjust your date once with at least two weeks notice, as long as your new date is available. Rescheduling or canceling an event within two weeks of your booking date may forfeit your grocery deposit. However, we always strive to collaborate with you whenever possible.
