After spending the day on Lake Nottely with a rental boat and private captain, these eight ladies were ready to slow down and enjoy a relaxed bachelorette dinner on the final evening of their weekend in Blairsville.

Ruthann, the bride’s sister, wanted the night to feel special while keeping everyone in the relaxed and comfortable setting they had enjoyed throughout the trip. She invited Blue Ridge Cabin Cuisine to create a personalized private chef experience at their family’s lovely home on the shore of Lake Nottely.

A Private Bachelorette Dinner Overlooking Lake Nottely

The weather was beautiful, so the ladies gathered for dinner on the covered deck overlooking Lake Nottely and the surrounding North Georgia mountains.

The table was styled in fresh shades of blue and green that suited the summer setting. Blue taper candles, layered place settings, printed menus, and patterned linens added thoughtful detail, and the bride’s sister arranged the gorgeous fresh flowers that became the centerpiece of the table.

The ladies arrived for dinner in beautiful, breezy summer dresses that matched the setting perfectly. The evening felt elevated and meaningful, but still comfortable, relaxed, and completely their own.

An Italian Menu Chosen by the Bride

The bride selected an Italian-inspired menu for the evening, and the house began to fill with the aromas of garlic, herbs, tomatoes, and simmering sauce within minutes of Chef George’s arrival.

Dinner began with whipped ricotta topped with cherry tomatoes, garlic, herbs, and lemon, served with warm French bread.

The second course was a colorful kale salad with radish, red onion, bell pepper, goat cheese, and pistachios, finished with a honey vinaigrette.

For the main course, Chef George prepared rigatoni alla vodka with spicy sausage, grated Parmesan, and roasted broccolini. It was a warm, comforting meal that suited the relaxed lakeside atmosphere and gave the ladies plenty of time to linger around the table together.

Time to Relax, Visit, and Enjoy the Experience

Several of the ladies stopped by the kitchen while Chef George prepared dinner. They tasted the sauce, asked questions, and chatted with him as each course came together.

That interaction is one of the details that makes a private chef experience feel so personal. Guests can settle in with a drink on the deck, spend time with one another, or wander into the kitchen to see what Chef George is preparing.

For this group, the evening offered exactly what Ruthann had hoped for: a personalized meal, thoughtful presentation, and plenty of time for everyone to enjoy their last night in Blairsville together.

Thank you, Ruthann, for inviting Blue Ridge Cabin Cuisine to be part of such a lovely celebration. We wish the bride a wonderful wedding and many happy years ahead.
