By the time we arrived at the cabin, this group had already settled into exactly the kind of weekend people come to Blue Ridge for: quiet, unhurried, and tucked away from the crowds.
No rushing. No figuring out who was driving. No waiting for a table in a noisy restaurant. Just an evening set aside for good food and time together.

For this multigenerational girls’ gathering, the goal was simple: stay in, relax, and let someone else handle dinner. Chef George created a personalized menu that fit the pace of the evening.
The first course was a crab stuffed portabella mushroom finished with creamy lemon remoulade. It was followed by an arugula and watermelon salad with pear, apple, red onion, dill, and citrus vinaigrette.
For the main course, he served rosemary and thyme crusted pork loin with roasted garlic mashed potatoes and sautéed asparagus. Dessert finished the evening sweet and simple: mini cheesecakes with fresh berry compote.
One of the things we love most about our work is how naturally the meal becomes part of the gathering. Guests can linger at the table. Conversation can stretch between courses. No one has to leave the table or think about cleaning the kitchen afterward. Dinner happens right where everyone is already comfortable.
And that’s exactly what this group was hoping for. They wanted the comfort and privacy of their secluded cabin and dinner prepared, served, and cleaned up without interrupting the flow of their weekend.
After the event, they left us the kindest review:
“We had a wonderful dinner for our Girls Gathering. Our multigenerational group loved the meal. Great food! Fabulous service. Timely execution and clean up. Reasonable and clearly stated pricing.”

That is exactly the feeling we hope to leave behind. Not just a beautifully prepared meal, but an evening where guests feel cared for from start to finish.
We were so grateful to be part of their weekend. These casual family gatherings are some of our favorites because they leave room for what people come to Blue Ridge to enjoy: resting, relaxing, and making memories.
Whether you’re escaping hustle and bustle of Atlanta or celebrating a milestone, every Blue Ridge mountain getaway has its own rhythm. Chef George builds each menu around the people at the table, the occasion, and the way they want the evening to feel.
